Features.

Three types of behavioral interventions. One at a time. Each matched to your persona, voice preference, and behavioral context.

Stop

Strategic subtraction

Kalon removes before it adds. Stop levers target behaviors, commitments, or patterns that drain energy without proportional return. No blame, no permanence, no absolutism — just time-boxed subtraction.

When It Triggers

High burnout risk detected
Strong time-sink signals from behavioral data
High friction avoidance patterns

Example Levers

Stop checking email before 10am for 7 days
Stop saying yes to meetings without a clear agenda
Stop working past 6pm on Wednesdays

Start

Intentional addition

Rare and precise. Start levers introduce one small, high-leverage behavior that compounds over time. Only triggered when leverage density is high, burnout risk is low, and execution capacity exceeds the threshold.

When It Triggers

Leverage density above threshold
Low burnout risk confirmed
Execution capacity supports addition

Example Levers

Start a 10-minute morning review of priorities
Start one conversation per week outside your team
Start writing down your top 3 before opening Slack

Shift

Behavioral reframe

Kalon's most powerful move. Shift levers transform how you approach something you're already doing — same effort, different trajectory. Triggered when the behavior isn't wrong, just mistimed or misplaced.

When It Triggers

Behavior is misaligned, not harmful
User resists hard stops
Persona prefers autonomy and reframing

Example Levers

Shift your hardest task to your peak energy window
Shift from solo planning to thinking out loud with a peer
Shift weekly reviews from output metrics to energy patterns

Not Tasks. Experiments.

Kalon delivers strategic prescriptions, not to-do items. Each lever is a time-boxed experiment with a why, a signal to watch, and a moment to reassess.

01

Remove Before Adding

Kalon removes before it adds. If removal isn't possible, it shifts. Only when leverage density is high does Kalon start something new.

02

One at a Time

Maximum 2 active levers at once. Never all three types unless you ask. Priority order: Stop, then Shift, then Start.

03

Time-Boxed Experiments

Every lever has a duration — 3 to 10 days — and a review moment. No indefinite commitments. No streak pressure.

04

Graceful Failure

If you ignore a lever, Kalon doesn't escalate. It downgrades complexity and switches approach. No guilt. No judgment.
