Agreement

By using Kalon, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Kalon Is

Kalon is a personal strategy coaching application. It uses behavioral assessments and AI-generated recommendations to help you identify patterns and experiment with small behavioral changes. Kalon is not a medical, therapeutic, or mental health service. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice.

Your Account

Registration — You must create an account with a valid email address and password to use Kalon.

Security — You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Accuracy — You agree to provide truthful responses to the diagnostic assessment. Kalon's recommendations are only as good as the context you provide.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kalon for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer the app, attempt to extract AI prompts or proprietary logic, or use the service in ways that could harm other users or our infrastructure.

AI-Generated Content

Levers, insights, and reflections are generated by AI based on your behavioral profile. This content is personalized guidance, not professional advice. You should exercise your own judgment when deciding whether to follow any recommendation.

AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, irrelevant, or not suited to your situation. Use the feedback system (thumbs up/down, pause with reason) to help Kalon improve.

Premium Subscription

Billing — Premium features are available through auto-renewing subscriptions managed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.

Cancellation — You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Free Tier — Kalon offers a free tier with limited lever generation. Premium unlocks unlimited levers, the journal, calendar view, and advanced insights.

Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store.

Intellectual Property

Kalon, its design, persona system, diagnostic framework, and scoring engine are proprietary. AI-generated content delivered to you is licensed for your personal use. The underlying prompts, templates, and generation logic remain our intellectual property.

Data & Privacy

Your use of Kalon is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to data practices described therein. You can manage all data permissions from Settings.

Limitation of Liability

Kalon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated recommendations. Kalon is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or financial advice.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all associated data.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as Kalon evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications.
